Rustling rivers, rustling forests, wheat fields swaying in the wind, and sweet little villages here and there - this is Dorfromantik! The video game from the small developer studio Toukana Interactive has delighted players since its Early Access in March 2021 and has already won various prestigious awards. Now, Michael Palm and Lukas Zach are transforming the popular strategy and puzzle game into a family game for both young and old with Dorfromantik!
In Dorfromantik, up to 6 players work together to place hexagonal tiles to create a beautiful landscape in an attempt to fulfill the population's wishes, while also laying down as long roads and rivers as possible, but also taking into account the flags that give points in closed areas. The better the players manage to do this, the more points they can score in the end. During the campaign, the earned points can be used to unlock new tiles hidden in locked boxes. These present new, additional tasks for the players and allow for increasing the score more and more.
