Cluebox: The Trial of Camelot

The Kingdom of Logres, the beginning of the 6th century. The aging King Arthur seeks help from his mentor, the wizard Merlin, to find a worthy knight who can join the quest for the holy grail. Later, Merlin finds a way to identify the worthy - the one who can pass the trial and "draw the king's sword."

Many knights gifted with strength and bravery came to Merlin, but none of them could pass the trial. Until Galahad, son of Lancelot, arrived. Shortly thereafter, King Arthur proclaims him the greatest knight ever.

Many of Galahad's deeds are detailed in medieval literature, except for one - the trial against Merlin, which remained a secret to Galahad. Until quite recently, a mound was excavated in West Yorkshire with the grave of an unknown knight. Everything indicated that it was the knight Galahad's grave, and in his hands was the trial against Merlin, which followed Galahad until the end of his days.
