Beautiful puzzle from Denmark's Royal Line

An overwhelming majority in North Schleswig voted to return to Denmark in 1920 after 56 years under German rule. The reunification became a grand folk festival, culminating in Christian 10's ride across the border to Southern Jutland on July 10, 1920.

Alfred V. Jensen's painting depicts the historic moment when Christian 10 is just being led through the magnificent honor gate that was erected at the former border crossing to Southern Jutland. The king is received with great jubilation by the many Southern Jutlanders who had now become Danish again after 56 years of German rule.

Great efforts were made to procure a white horse for Christian 10. The king wished to fulfill an old prophecy that stated that Southern Jutland would become Danish again when the Danish king rode across the border on a white horse.
