In Catan: Seafarers, you control a group of brave seafarers exploring and taming the wild, undiscovered islands around Catan. Each game takes you to new seas and new lands. You may even discover the very rare gold fields (a very valuable new terrain). Each game is unique and full of fun!

Embark on an epic journey to settle the home island, build ships, and chart nearby sea areas. Lead your brave seafarers to victory through clever trades and clever development. Be the first to create new sea routes and settle the recently discovered islands.

How to play Catan Seafarers:

Unlike the original Catan, you do not need to set up the game board in the same basic shape every time! Instead, you can choose from 8 different scenarios. Each scenario offers a unique mix of challenges and opportunities for you to explore. Each scenario has an illustration showing how the board should be assembled.

The first four scenarios are modeled after Catan's basic rules
Expansion. They are easy to play. Scenarios 5 to 8 are more complex, as new rules have been added. So it is best to play the scenarios in the shown order.

The Seafarers expansion introduces new rules for:
• Building, placing, and moving ships.
• Acquiring special victory point tokens.
• The dreaded pirate!

• 30 Catan chips
