Catan Dice Game (Nordic)

Experience a new and compact version of Settlers of Catan – now in a fast and dice-based edition!

In this version, it's still about building settlements, roads, cities, and hiring knights – but without the classic game board. Instead, each player has their own building sheet, which shows a mini-version of Catan. Here, you draw your roads and settlements directly on the sheet as you build.

To build, you need to collect resources. This happens through a Yahtzee-inspired mechanic, where you roll six special dice with different resource symbols. You may roll up to three times per turn and can choose which dice to keep and which to roll again after each throw. When you are satisfied with the result, you use your resources to build and score victory points for completed buildings – which are noted on your building sheet.

The game lasts 15 turns and takes about 15–30 minutes to play. The winner is the player with the most victory points at the end of the game.

The game is designed for 1–4 players and also includes a solo variant, so you can challenge yourself. Newer editions include double-sided card sheets and rules for Catan Dice Game Plus.
