This starter set contains everything you need to begin playing Call of Cthulhu - a role-playing game filled with mysteries and horrors. Players take on the roles of investigators who must explore mysteries, uncover dark secrets, encounter strange monsters, and oppose terrifying cults.

Together, you and your friends create and develop a story where each of your miniatures plays a crucial role, whether it be to prevent a horrific plot or stop terrors from beyond time and space!

Role-playing is a social activity. Everyone works together as a team, with each person taking on different investigator characters. One player runs the game - the Keeper of Arcane Lore - who acts as the "judge" in the game, presenting the story and ensuring that it unfolds.
