Sd.Kfz 250/1 was a reconnaissance and transport half-track, mainly used by scout and HQ units. The vehicle was a shorter version of the Sd.Kfz 251 series, and like its longer cousin, there were many variants that fulfilled different roles - such as cable, ammunition, and radio carriers, etc.
The vehicle can carry 6 men including 2 drivers, and was armed with two fixed-mounted MG34 machine guns, one shielded forward and the other covering the rear and air.
This model is based on the original 'alt' (old) version, which was used throughout World War II against German forces as well as with their Romanian allies.
There are enough parts to assemble the following:
- Sd.Kfz 250/1 - the standard version of this armored half-track.
- Sd.Kfz 250/9 - fully enclosed reconnaissance variant with a turret, and a 2
- cm automatic cannon mounted.
- Sd.kfz 250/11 - the section leader's half-track with the front machine gun replaced by a 2.8 cm Panzerbüchse 41 anti-tank rifle with coaxial machine gun.
- Includes crew miniatures with separate heads wearing either standard uniforms or winter uniforms.
Note: All miniatures are unpainted and unassembled
