The first M3 tanks were put into service late in 1941, when the American army needed a good tank, and combined with Britain's demand for a medium tank immediately, production of the Lee began in late 1940.
The tank's first actions during the war were in the North African campaign in 1942. They continued to serve in North Africa until the end of this campaign, where the M3 was generally appreciated for its mechanical reliability, good armor, and heavy firepower.
The package includes 1 vehicle made of resin and metal and 1 crew made of metal.
Note: Models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
