Bolt Action: Italian Paracadutisti Weapons Team (Eng)

Infantry weapons teams are a key component in any Bolt Action army, providing your force with great tactical flexibility. Sniper teams, flamethrower teams, and light mortar teams are among the most common, presenting your opponent with several challenges you must overcome.

On paper, each Italian infantry division was supposed to have eight assigned flamethrower teams to dig out entrenched infantry and assault fortifications. In practice, these supplies were of course much less.

The Italian army had no special sniper rifle, and the relatively light Carcano Model 1891 with its small caliber bullet was not ideally suited for the role. But in the hands of a skilled shooter, the weapon would prove to be deadly enough.

The Brixia 45 mm light mortar was a powerful and successful weapon in the hands of properly trained soldiers. Its rate of fire was higher than comparable weapons used by other nations, and its accuracy was also unparalleled.
