While the Band of Brothers starter set focuses on the battles in Europe after D-Day, Island Assault! shifts the action to the Pacific War. Here, the United States Marine Corps (USMC) faces off against Japanese island defenders in some of the war's most brutal and intense battles.

Island Assault! is one of the best ways to get started with Bolt Action – whether you are new to the miniature games hobby or an experienced general. In the box, you will find two opposing forces in detailed plastic:
12 US Marines supported by an M3A1 half-track fighting against 12 Japanese infantrymen and the threat of a Chi-Ha medium tank.

Additionally, it includes a double-sided playmat and MDF terrain in East Asian ruin theme, so you can quickly create the right atmosphere on the battlefield.

In the box, you will also find a QR code that provides access to a free, downloadable Bolt Action Field Manual. It guides you step by step through the hobby – from assembling models to your first battles. Through a series of introductory missions, you will learn the game's core mechanics, so you are quickly ready to lead your forces into combat.

Once you have completed the intro missions, you can dive into the included A5 Bolt Action rulebook (Third Edition) – and then the possibilities are endless.
