This campaign book gives you the opportunity to recreate the historical island-hopping battles between American and Imperial Japanese forces in the Pacific Theater that took place in 1944. Even as the Allies stormed the beaches of Normandy, American forces began to move across the Pacific in their own Blitzkrieg, fighting bitter and violent battles across small strips of land against tenacious Japanese defenders.

The book contains a wealth of scenarios that represent some of the key battles and is presented in such a way that they form an extended campaign. You will find new units for the Japanese and the USA (both the US Army and Marines), and all the special rules you need to play; including, crucially, those for amphibious assaults, dug-in defenders, and tropical hazards among many others.
