Black Library: Astra Militarum - Auxilia (Pb) (English)

Auxilia is a new novel from Russell Zimmerman, following a young officer who faces an almost impossible task in Astra Militarum.

Castellan-Colonel Roane is put in charge of a motley auxilia unit, which includes a clan of despised abhumans. As if that weren't enough, the unit is monitored by a brutal Commissar who openly hates them, while Departmento Munitorum has all but forgotten they exist.

Roane attempts to transform the chaotic group into a disciplined fighting force modeled after the Cadians. But as he struggles to make the unit function, those around him are working to have it wiped out.
