You work together, but must also be cautious. One of you will betray the others. This edition of the game is designed to help new players jump straight into the action. Gather your friends for a game night filled with monsters and chills!
How to play Betrayal at House on the Hill:
In each of the rooms, mysteries, hauntings, and strange omens await, and each time a miniature enters a new room, the player must either draw an Event Card, an Item Card or an Omen Card.
Suddenly, the game's scenario begins. In Betrayal at House on the Haunted Hill it is not predetermined which of the 50 different scenarios will be played; it is decided randomly during the game, and then a player is designated as the villain, while the rest are now the heroes who must thwart the villain's vile plans, whether it is to recreate Frankenstein's monster, feed the heroes to gigantic carnivorous plants, sacrifice them to demonic idols, or unleash the zombie apocalypse. Each scenario has its own rules and covers a classic horror story.
