Alone (Eng)

Alone is an asymmetric sci-fi horror game for 2-4 players. 1 player controls the shipwrecked hero, who has a limited amount of time to complete missions while exploring a map filled with dangers and traps that are only revealed little by little. The threats are managed by 1-3 evil masterminds, and they will do their best to prevent the hero from discovering the truth and saving their companions.

The evil players always have the entire map of the scenario in front of them, hidden behind a large screen. They control all the events that happen during the game and try to prevent the hero from reaching their goals.

The hero can only see the part of the map they are in, and from there they must explore the map. All kinds of horrors can hide in the dark, so they need to be careful. At the end of each round, the parts of the map that have been explored will be removed from the table: only the sector they are in remains visible... The hero will thus have to test their memory if they do not want to get lost!

The game's story unfolds through several scenarios, each divided into multiple chapters. Each chapter has a specific goal that the hero must complete, while the evil players try to stop them (or fulfill their own goals). The outcome of each chapter will affect the gameplay in the following ones: each scenario is designed with a branching story that adapts to the players' actions - if the hero completes their goals, their life will be easier in the next chapter... But that also applies to the evil players!
