Æterna – Rise to power in ancient Rome

In Æterna, the new strategy game designed by Martin Wallace and developed by Ergo Ludo, you take on the role of a Roman Gens (family), seeking to increase your prestige through three historical epochs: The Roman Kingdom, The Roman Republic, and The Roman Empire.

🏛️ Your mission is to:

• Build influence in Rome by ruling over the 7 hills,

• Contribute to the construction of monuments and buildings,

• Support the conquest of provinces.

⚠️ But beware! If the citizens in your own areas become dissatisfied, unrest and rebellion may threaten your position and bring shame upon your lineage.

🎲 Players draw and choose cards, manage resources, and compete for dominance through the three epochs – each with its own challenges and opportunities.

📜 Use your tactical skills and sharp decisions to increase your family's power and prestige. If you play your cards right, your Gens will be remembered as one of the most influential in Rome's history.
