A Feast for Odin is a saga in the form of a board game. You relive the cultural highlights, mercantile expeditions, and pillages of the tribes we today know as Vikings - a term that was used in a completely different way at the end of the first millennium.
When the Norse went on their raids, they used to say they went 'on a Viking'. However, their Scandinavian ancestors were much more than just pirates. They were explorers and founders of states. Leif Eriksson is said to be the first European in America, long before Columbus.
In A Feast for Odin, players use the game board to hunt, gather materials, refine these materials, develop their production buildings, build/buy ships, and raid settlements. A worker placement game by the highly acclaimed game designer Uwe Rosenberg.
