Vallejo

Here you will find our wide selection of paints for miniatures from the brand Vallejo. We carry two series from Vallejo: "Game Color" and "Game Air". Vallejo paint is developed in collaboration with miniature painters and is therefore available in a selection of colors that are perfect for painting miniatures and dioramas. Vallejo paint is water-soluble and contains no solvents.

HeaderMore about VallejoBlockText2

Vallejo produces many different series of paints, but their Game series is especially suitable for painting miniatures used in games. The paint is developed with a special type of resin that makes it extra resistant to the wear that occurs from frequently handling the miniatures.

Properties of the Paint

Vallejo paint dries quickly and forms a uniform, smooth surface that preserves even the smallest details on your miniatures. The paint from Vallejo comes in smart drip bottles with screw caps – a design that ensures the bottle is airtight, so the paint does not dry out. When the paint is dripped out, you can control how much paint you want on the palette, which reduces waste.

Types of Paint

Below you can read more about the different types of paint from Vallejo:

Game Color:

These are Vallejo's basic colors. They are available in a wide range of shades and can be used to paint all stages of your miniature from start to finish.

Game Extra Opaque:

These colors have added extra pigment, which makes them cover exceptionally well. This is particularly practical when you need to paint one color over another; especially if you need to paint a light color over a dark one. With Extra Opaque from Vallejo, you can manage with a single layer.

Game Wash:

A wash is very thin and is intended to add shadows to your miniatures. They are designed to flow into the recesses of the miniature and thus provide a beautiful result.

Game Ink:

Vallejo's Ink colors are very thin and highly pigmented. This is particularly useful if you want to highlight parts of your miniature by laying a thin, dark line along an edge.

Game Effects:

Vallejo Game Effects are a range of colors that are specially designed to paint various effects. Examples include blood, wounds, rust, and patina.

Game Air:

Air colors have a thinner consistency as they are intended for airbrush. However, it may still be necessary to dilute the paint to get the right flow of paint. We recommend Vallejo Airbrush Thinner.

Surface Primer:

This is paint that provides your miniatures with a base coat using an airbrush. It helps the paint adhere better to the miniature and makes the colors appear in a specific way depending on which base color you choose. For example, white makes the colors appear very bright, while a black base color gives a more subdued expression.

At Card Collective, we love painting miniatures, so whether you are a beginner or ready to take your miniature painting to the next level, we are always ready to help you get started with guidance and painting tips.
