It is recommended to apply Xpress Color on a surface primed or painted in white or gray. The applied color will create bright areas on the reliefs, saturated mid-tones, and intense shadows in the crevices of the miniature. It can be applied over any color to create soft shadow and contour effects, to create glazes or filters, and to blend transitions between colors.

All Xpress Colors can be mixed together, or you can also dilute them with Xpress Thinner Medium to change or create new shades. Although Xpress Color gives the best results when applied with a brush, it can also be applied with an airbrush.
