HeaderMore about Ultra Pro (Sleeves)BlockText2

Ultra PRO is the company that released the first card sleeves specifically designed for trading card games and collector cards back in 1995. At that time, the card sleeves were called 'deck protectors' – essentially card game protectors. Ultra PRO's original deck protectors were a harder and more uniform version of traditional card sleeves as we know them today. The first deck protectors were clear on both sides, but shortly after, they were also produced with an opaque back, so the back of the card could no longer be seen. Subsequently, several different back colors were added, and sleeves were even produced with designs on the back.
