If you play one of our card games, such as Magic the Gathering or Keyforge, you will surely also want to take good care of your cards. The best way to protect the cards from dirt and wear is by putting them in card sleeves. Card sleeves come in many different versions, from clear plastic on both sides, to colored backs, and to backs with dragon motifs. If the cards need extra protection, you can "double-sleeve" them, which means putting the cards in a very tight-fitting card sleeve, then sealing it by placing it all in a slightly larger card sleeve.

Deck Boxes

When you need to store and transport your decks, deck boxes are the perfect solution. Deck boxes are made of a hard material, so they can withstand some bumps. Moreover, the box closes completely tight, so your cards are also protected against dust and other small particles.

Dice

In both Magic the Gathering and other games, you sometimes need to keep track of how much life or points you have. Instead of keeping accounts on a piece of paper, you can conveniently use dice. Just turn the die to change the number, or add/remove a die as needed. You might also need to place markers on your cards. Here, a simple die is also an elegant and more manageable solution, rather than placing many individual markers on them.
In addition to traditional 6-sided dice, there are also special spin-down dice, specifically designed to keep track of life in Magic. It is a 20-sided die, but instead of the numbers being spread out, the numbers are next to each other in numerical order. This makes it easy, for example, to go from 20 to 17 life without having to turn the whole die around to find the right number.

Playmats

When you play with your cards, you can advantageously use a playmat. Playmats are made of the same material as mouse pads and prevent wear from being played on a hard surface. Binders

Binders are a practical and elegant solution for storing your collection of cards when you are not using them to play. The collector's binders have a solid cover, and transparent plastic sides that typically let you archive 3 x 3 cards per page. Some of the collector's binders have "side loaders", where the cards are inserted into the pockets from the side. This prevents dust from falling down from above. If you want to take extra good care of your cards, you can get a collector's binder with a zipper. Then your cards are safe, both on the shelf and in the bag.
