Most puzzle enthusiasts stop around 1,000 – 1,500 pieces. Some try their hand at 2,000 pieces and get hooked, but not many have the time and desire to tackle puzzles of more than 2,000 pieces.

Whether you're assembling 4,000 or 5,000 pieces doesn't make much of a difference, once you're bitten by the bug of large puzzles and have cracked the code, everything runs smoothly like a game and it's extremely satisfying to see the finished result.

If you're up for these large puzzles, be aware that it naturally takes a long time to complete. Do yourself a favor and sort thoroughly from the start, otherwise, you'll burn out too quickly and a puzzle that just sits collecting dust on the shelf is not much fun!
