Pokémon Tins

Pokémon tins are various collections of booster packs, all delivered in a stylish aluminum box. Tins contain different contents, but common to all is that they include a number of Pokémon boosters. Boosters are the perfect way to add new cards to your collection, and here you get a cool box that you can use to store your favorite cards in.

Opening boosters is the primary way you get new cards for your growing Pokémon collection. Boosters typically contain 10 mixed Pokémon cards, distributed with 1 rare card, 1 energy, with the rest divided between common and uncommon cards. Thus, you are always guaranteed to get a rare card for each booster you open. However, a rare card is not just "any" rare card. You might be lucky enough to find it is one of the even rarer V or V Max cards, or even one of the highly coveted "rainbow" cards.

When you open boosters, you cannot know exactly which cards you will get. But each booster carries the name of the set it belongs to, and in this way, you know the pool from which the cards are drawn. So if you hope to pull a specific card, this is how you know which boosters to buy. For example, a Pokémon booster pack might be named Vivid Voltage, Hidden Fates, or Battle Styles. Thus, you will be able to pull completely different cards in these three boosters.
