Pokemon VSTAR are further evolutions of Pokemon V, and will play a major role in the Pokemon TCG meta. Each Pokemon VSTAR has their own VSTAR Power - either an ability or an attack - but an extremely powerful effect that can determine the outcome of a battle. However, the VSTAR power can only be used once per game, and once used, you must turn your VSTAR marker.

In addition to having unique VSTAR Powers, Pokemon VSTAR have high HP and powerful attacks, and they can give up to 2 Prize cards when they are Knocked Out.

Pokemon trainers can look forward to Arceus VSTAR, Charizard VSTAR, Shaymin VSTAR, and Whimsicott VSTAR in Brilliant Stars. The set will also include a special Trainer Gallery subset consisting of 30 cards featuring fan-favorite Trainers and Pokemon.
