The aim of Monopoly is simply to buy, rent, and sell properties as advantageously as possible, so you can become the richest player. You can be between 2 – 6 players and all players start at the "Start" space on the game board. Additionally, a player must be chosen to manage the "bank" before the game starts, and this person distributes 30,000 to each player.
The game continues until a winner is found. On their turn, a player rolls a die and then moves their piece the correct number of spaces on the board. If they land on a space that is not already owned, they can choose to buy it from the bank. When other players land on this space, they will have to pay rent to the player who owns the space. If the player does not want to buy the space, it is put up for auction.
