Standard is a one-on-one format, where each deck must consist of at least 60 cards, and 15 cards in the Sideboard. Games are usually played best out of 3. These games should last the standard length for a game (about 20 minutes on average).

Standard is a dynamic format where you build your deck and play with cards in your collection from recently released Magic sets. Evolving gameplay and fresh strategies make it one of the most fun and popular ways to play Magic.

How does rotation work?
Each year, new Magic sets are released and added to Standard. Once a year, when the autumn set is released, the four oldest sets in Standard are rotated out.
