Tools

Before you start painting your miniatures, you often need to do some preparation to get your miniatures ready. Many miniature models come on a plastic frame, where the individual parts need to be clipped free with fine pliers. When assembling plastic models, we recommend using plastic glue, which is designed specifically for this purpose. Other useful equipment might include scalpels or a fine file if the model has mold lines or other minor flaws that need to be corrected. And of course, it's important to have some high-quality brushes in a size suitable for painting the small miniatures.

Painting

Citadel, Vallejo, and Army Painter all produce top-quality paints, ensuring a great experience when painting miniatures. In addition to normal colors, each brand offers its own range of unique specialized products. Citadel makes painting easy by categorizing their colors into base and layer, and they also have Contrast, which can paint light and shadows with a single layer. Vallejo offers the amazing "Shifters", which change color depending on the angle, and Army Painter has a unique series of colored metallic paints. Citadel, Vallejo, and Army Painter can be used together without any problems, allowing your models to benefit from the best of all worlds.

Base Materials

When painting models, don't forget the base! A beautifully decorated base can elevate a painted miniature from great to fantastic.
