Rick and Morty is an American adult animated sci-fi sitcom series. It was created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon and was originally conceived as a parody of the Back to the Future movies. Rick and Morty revolves around the cynical, mad, and heavily alcoholic scientist Rick Sanchez and his kind-hearted, but always worried and easily influenced grandson Morty Smith. The series follows the mismatched duo in their everyday lives and on their interdimensional adventures. Rick and Morty is especially known for its originality, creativity, and humor.
