Death

Death

is a Grand Alliance in the game Warhammer Age of Sigmar. The only constant in the mortal realms is that death comes to all - and even that is not necessarily the end. From his palace in the underworld of Shyish, the great necromancer Nagash rules over all the dead, commanding them to carry out his sinister plans. Legions of undead skeletons march side by side with swirling spirits in their eternal hunt for the souls that have escaped Nagash's grasp.

HeaderMore about DeathBlockText2

Death consists of several factions, all ultimately under the death god Nagash, whose goal is to eradicate all life, and create a world filled with the undead, where only his own thoughts and will, as the only ruler.

Legions of Nagash
Endless hordes of undead march to war on the orders of the death god Nagash. Row after row of Deathrattle skeletons form the foundation of the Legions of Nagash, and bloodthirsty Soulblight vampires and the immortal Mortarchs issue commands in battle. To use such an army is to wield the very forces of death to repeatedly revive skeleton warriors and destroy enemies with dark magic.

Nighthaunt
These terrifying spirits are shaped by Nagash's magic, as an echo of their past life's misdeeds. Nighthaunt are driven to unleash their terror over the living. Their touch is deadly, and their ghostly bodies withstand even the strongest attacks. Nighthaunt is a perfect army for those who want a resilient force that can also inflict significant damage on even the most well-protected enemies.

Flesh-Eater Courts
Flesh-Eater Courts suffer from a morbid curse, but see themselves as noble warriors with fine housekeepers. In reality, they are grotesque, pale creatures, obsessed with a cannibalistic hunger - a need that can only be satisfied with bloody meals. If you like an interesting backstory that is both tragic and terrifying, and hordes of frightening creatures that can regenerate damage disturbingly quickly, then Flesh-Eater Courts are for you.

Ossiarch Bonereapers
Ossiarch Bonereapers stand out in macabre grandeur, for they are Nagash's will given form. They are created by combining countless souls and bones, and everything they kill becomes theirs, body and soul. They are a military force unlike any other, organized and efficient. They are led by generals created by the death god, and they are allowed to use a bit of his necromantic powers.
