Blood Bowl is a miniature game created by Jervis Johnson for Games Workshop, as a parody of American football. It was first released in 1986, but has been reissued in new editions since then: Blood Bowl 2 was released by Cyanide studios in 2015 and most recently Blood Bowl 3 is set to be released in February 2022.

Blood Bowl takes place in an alternative version of Warhammer Fantasy or Warhammer Age of Sigmar, with traditional fantasy races such as goblins, dwarves, elves, orcs, and trolls.

In 2016, Games Workshop released a new edition of the game, which included new plastic miniatures and a double-sided game board. In August 2020, Games Workshop released the latest edition of Blood Bowl, namely Blood Bowl Second Season Edition, which came with completely new rules, miniatures enough to make 2 teams including referees, a game board, and templates.
