For nearly 20 years, Black Library has been producing fiction based in the Warhammer worlds. These books have grown in popularity over time, and today, according to Black Library itself, their settings are among the most content-rich and expansive in science fiction and fantasy. These settings are domains marked by chaos and war, heroism and betrayal... The Order armies are in a constant war for humanity's souls against The Dark Gods.

Five different settings

The five Black Library settings are:

• Warhammer 40,000
• Warhammer Age of Sigmar
• The Horus Heresy
• Warhammer Horror
• Warhammer Crime

Additionally, there is the setting Warhammer Fantasy, which is Black Library's largest, no longer written for new stories, but the books are continuously reprinted.

Warhammer 40,000

Warhammer Horror

Explore the dark heart of The Mortal Realms and the 41st millennium in new stories focusing on the grim and macabre elements of the Warhammer universes.

Warhammer Crime

Black Library's crime series takes place far in a cruel future in the massive city of Varangantua. This crime-ridden metropolis is home to all sorts of shady characters from sneaky pickpockets to gang leaders and from wealthy overseers to street-walking detectives.

Both novels and collections of short stories

You can choose from stories of all sizes, so there is definitely something in Black Library that suits your reading preferences.
